The graduating class of 2023 will always hold a special place in the heart of the Foundation. As the inaugural scholarship recipients, they not only shared their time and story, but they also brought to life the values and mission of the organization.
With over 35 applicants from Richmond and Moore county, we could not have done it without the incredible partnership of the scholarship directors at all 5 high schools. In addition, it would not have been possible without the generous and thoughtful donations from our supporters, as well as those that shared our mission with their communities. Because of this support, the Foundation surpassed our initial goals and were able to award 6 total scholarships (3 per county).
With that, we are pleased to introduce our 2023 Craven Apiary scholarship recipients and learn a little more about them.
